Great location, but I left the hotel with 7 bedbug bits.

Has a good location to downtown, short walk to shopping and food.
The parking lot is too small.

The pillows were terrible. A couple of them were very flat and the others were extremely hard. I never have trouble with mattresses or pillows in motels, but I was awake half the night in discomfort. If I recommend it I will tell them to take their own pillows. shirl

Location. Very friendly staff. Clean.
Very noisy!!! Hockey teams and skiers packed many to a room and coming in all night. No soundproofing from room to room or in the stairwells. No elevator so you have to carry everything up stairs.

Rooms were clean and warm. Staff was super friendly. Lobby area is cozy.
Wish hot tub was open later. Room entry keys are annoying to hang on to.

The regristration gal was delightful and helpful.
The charge for the room, considering the age and condition of the hotel is ridiculous. My first assigned room had a bathroom fan that sounded like a jet taking off. The wood is rotting and the carpets appear to have been placed around ve day. At approximately $130 for one night, this room was worth about $30.

It is close to downtown and some good restaurants.
There was a bright light outside of our window. I would have expected a little more after the reviews I read. It's just an average hotel, don't get too excited.

The location.
The place really needs to update the rooms. Staff were friendly enough but for the price I was really unimpressed. No coffee maker in room, old style TV, WIFI could not be picked up in the room I was in on 2nd floor (had to go and stand by the coke machine to get a signal), the place just felt old and dated. Perfect location but the motel could be such a great place for repeat business. When I return to Whitefish I'll stay elsewhere and sacrifice the location.
